My story
Hello, my name is Gersande EBL Duncan, born in Soignies on June 8, 1978.
When i was young, i shared my time between Belgium and Great Britain (Scotland). My father coming from the beautiful city of Aberdeen,
he transmitted to me his values but also his love of nature and Scotland. My work is therefore inspired very regularly.
My career
I followed my artistic studies at the Technical Institute of the Ursulines in Mons (1989-1996), not resisting the urge to explore the world of Arts. I met excellent teachers there, who shared their knowledge, forged my artistic foundations. At that time, I was also guided by my father, who was passionate about photography, helped me to understand its essence.
In the year 2001, I finished a degree in illustration at ESAPV, at the Carré des Arts in Mons. During these
5 years, I could take advantage of advice, artistic reflections giving rise to group exhibitions.
Since 2003, I have shared my knowledge with passion to
my students, sometimes giving rise to magnificent projects such as theater sets, contest ... or simply by providing advice so that they can in turn supervise activities artistic.
A homecoming ...
I have many other passions: music, singing, rugby (supporter, player and coach), animals ... and especially my son.
Recently my son and my companion encouraged
me to return to the sources of my creativity.
After years dedicated to others, it's time to take
a more personal approach.
This site is therefore a revival, a way of returning to my first passions: illustrations, photographs and painting.
